LT-Q Worm Gearbox – Precision Quarter-Turn Valve Actuation

High-performance worm gearboxes designed for ball valves, butterfly valves, and plug valves, delivering reliable torque transmission, long service life, and superior sealing performance for demanding industrial applications.

PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

At present, we have three series of quarter turn worm gearbox, LT-Q, W & DW. LT-Q & W series are for manual valve operation, DW is for manual ride of electrical operated valves(MOV).

Product Customization

Water-proof grade: IP 68.
Aluminium bronze worm gear.
Stainless steel or special material shaft.
Application to low-temp conditions -29°C, -46°C, -60°C, etc.
Ductile iron, WCB, Low-temp Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel body material.
Handwheel position can be designed in left side.
Handwheel diameter can be customized per operation force.

Product Features

Complete models, each model with multiple mounting flange choice, so to provide better choice.
Flange connection conforms with ISO 5211.
Fully enclosed design, internal one-time grease injection for long term service.
Standard with locking device.
Travel: 0-90° (±5° adjustable)
Default application temperature: -20°C to +120°C.
Water-proof grade: IP 67
Shaft key, flat hole, square, trapezoidal thread optional for connection with valves.
Default handwheel position on right.
Handwheel clockwise rotation to close valve, anti-clockwise rotation to open valve, same as normal practice.

IP67 provides complete dust-tight protection and resistance to temporary water immersion (up to 1 meter for a limited time). IP68 offers higher protection for continuous or deeper immersion conditions, making it suitable for flood-prone or near-water industrial environments.

Q2: What material should I select for seawater or corrosive media?

For corrosive environments such as seawater applications, stainless steel (SS304 or SS316) or special alloy materials are recommended. Additional anti-corrosion coatings can also be applied to enhance durability and service life.
